David Kerzner, Ph.D. (Law) is a U.S. & Canadian international tax lawyer helping businesses and individuals solve cross-border tax problems since 2005.Representative clients include private and public corporations, funds (investment & pension), owner-entrepreneurs, professionals and their business entities, individuals, trusts, and estates. David has developed unique legal processes to help his clients optimize their businesses and preserve their wealth.
David's books on international tax law are widely published by eminent Canadian and global publishers including Thomson-Reuters, Irwin Law (acquired by University of Toronto Press), Palgrave Macmillan (London, UK), and Springer Nature (online). David has been licensed as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Province of Ontario since 1992, and as an Attorney at Law in the State of New York since 1993.
David earned his Ph.D. in law from Queen's University focusing on international tax law; two masters of laws degrees (LL.M.'s) in the fields of tax and international law from New York University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and HBA degrees from Queen's and Ivey at Western respectively.
David is the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal from the U.S. DoD, and the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada Medal. David has previously served pro bono as Ombudsman, State of New York, for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (an agency of the DoD).
